About us

We chose Kuddlebugz Kids for our own daughter, Hannah, when she was born in December of 2017. We selected Kuddlebugz Kids for many reasons, but the people who worked there was the most important. In July of 2019 we discovered the childcare was going to close as the prior owner was retiring. We decided to purchase the home and business and keep the daycare open without interruption. We determined to do our best to retain the team, programs, and relationships built over the years. Each person has demonstrated great care for our daughter and the children she played with each day. We didn’t want to fix something that wasn’t broken!

Kuddlebugz Kids provides care for young children in a clean, safe, and beautiful indoor and outdoor setting. Every member of the team is experienced and receives training each year on child development, health, and safety topics. All have to pass a drug screen, fingerprint background check, a health exam, and an annual TB test. They also have to annually renew their CPR Certification, Universal Precautions Training, and First Aid.

Many of our staff members also are mothers, and some are grandmothers with years of child-care experience. They are loving, nurturing women who enjoy providing a home environment for the children in their care.

Each caregiver has a designated age group and is focused on caring for the same kids, enabling her to get to know your kids’ personalities and for your child to form a warm bond with familiar faces. It brings children comfort to have a home environment with familiar people. The people we have on our team is what makes the difference between Kuddlebugz Kids and all others in the area. We all share a strong desire to keep Kuddlebugz Kids safe, caring, and happy for your child and our own.

Kuddlebugz Kids is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing year-round care that meets and exceeds state standards. Your child will be provided with nutritious breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks throughout the day. Our kitchen is equipped with reverse osmosis water for all food preparation and drinking. We follow all state regulations regarding ratios, training, health and safety standards, safe sleep requirements, outdoor time, environment, and supervision. We are also regularly inspected by the state.

We realize that each parent wants and deserves a safe, clean, and happy place for their child when they cannot be with them. At Kuddlebugz, we all give lots of hugs, kisses, and smiles and spend a lot of time on the floor interacting with the children. Our Kuddlebugz kids are like a small group of siblings that look forward to being together each day.
