Meet our Caregivers

Ms. Savannah

Ms. Savannah is happily married and a mother of 2. Upon graduation from Nokomis High School she honorably served in the United States Navy from 2007 until 2011. After taking a few years off to spend time with and raise her kids, she began working in the field of early childhood development – where she has held positions as Infant Caregiver, Toddler Caregiver, and Classroom Facilitator. She used to work as a personal Nanny for a family whose children require special needs. Most recently she became our Preschool Teacher. She has been part of the Kuddlebugz team since 2020. Her hobbies include reading, photography, and arts & crafts.

Ms. Kendall

Ms. Kendall is a Lake Central High School graduate, currently attending Purdue University Northwest, majoring in Early Childhood Education. While she pursues a future career in children’s education, she loves working with all young ones, especially babies and toddlers. In the past, she volunteered at the N-teens club that organizes events for children in the community. Certified as a lifeguard and former LCHS swim team member, Ms. Kendall enjoys the water! Before joining Kuddlebugz, she worked at a local church nursery and meat shop for four years. She is a natural at connecting with our little ones and making them feel special.

Ms. Tatyana

Ms. Tatyana has been working with us since Fall of 2018, primarily with the 2-5 ages. She graduated from Hanover Central in 2017, and is currently attending Purdue Northwest majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish. Taking care of kids has been something she has loved to do since she started babysitting at the age of 13 and she hopes to work with children in her future career. She previously worked for her town’s Parks Department by helping run the summer day camp. Her favorite way to relax is to grab a cup of coffee and a good coloring book.

Ms. Valerie

Ms. Valerie is a mom and a grandma. She has worked in retail and medical insurance industry, but enjoyed the most being a long-term childcare provider to two families. After becoming an empty nester and moving to Northwest Indiana, Ms. Valerie joined Kuddlebugz to continue doing what she loves: playing with and educating little children.

Ms. Madi

Ms. Madi is a Lake Central High School graduate, currently attending Indiana University in pursuit of a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification. She has been providing care for children since she was fourteen years old within her family and the neighborhood. He experience ranges from newborn to school-age. Ms. Madi volunteers weekly in the Lake Central School District for the past two years. She is a dedicated tutor to children with special needs, focusing on subjects of math and science. Outside of Kuddlebugz and school, she spends her time drawing and painting.
