Ms. Molly is a graduate of Ball State University where she received a degree in General Studies with a minor in Psychology of Human Development. During her time in school, she volunteered in a first-grade classroom, in an after-school elementary tutoring program, and as a middle school math and science tutor. She also participated in a practicum where she learned how to develop and teach curriculum to elementary age students. After graduating in the summer of 2019, she taught preschool at a national childcare center for ages 3 through 5. When a relocation from Indianapolis brought her to the Region, she joined Kuddlebugz in November of 2019 as our Preschool Teacher. She enjoys reading and painting in her spare time.
After joining Kuddlebugz Kids, Ms. Kayla quickly found her home in the infant classroom. Originally from Michigan, Ms. Kayla has studied at Grace College & Seminary and worked as a baker. After moving to Northwest Indiana, she was a retail store supervisor. Ms. Kayla enjoys interacting with our littlest friends; she is naturally patient, caring, and loving towards each of our precious babies. Outside of Kuddlebugz Kids, Ms. Kayla enjoys baking and spending time with her husband.
Ms. Denise is a mother of two and a grandma to six. She worked as a degreed Administrative Assistant for over 25 years and was a trusted driver for a company called “Mom’s Taxi.” She was a volunteer at her church nursery for many years and has been regularly delivering Meals on Wheels to the elderly for over ten years. She enjoys camping and bike riding in her spare time. She has been with Kuddlebugz since 2014, primarily as a lead caregiver of the twos.
Ms. Valerie is a mom and a grandma. She has worked in retail and medical insurance industry, but enjoyed the most being a long-term childcare provider to two families. After becoming an empty nester and moving to Northwest Indiana, Ms. Valerie joined Kuddlebugz to continue doing what she loves: playing with and educating little children.
Ms. Tatyana has been working with us since Fall of 2018, primarily with the 2-5 ages. She graduated from Hanover Central in 2017, and is currently attending Purdue Northwest majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish. Taking care of kids has been something she has loved to do since she started babysitting at the age of 13 and she hopes to work with children in her future career. She previously worked for her town’s Parks Department by helping run the summer day camp. Her favorite way to relax is to grab a cup of coffee and a good coloring book.
Ms. Madi is a Lake Central High School graduate, currently attending Indiana University in pursuit of a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification. She has been providing care for children since she was fourteen years old within her family and the neighborhood. He experience ranges from newborn to school-age. Ms. Madi volunteers weekly in the Lake Central School District for the past two years. She is a dedicated tutor to children with special needs, focusing on subjects of math and science. Outside of Kuddlebugz and school, she spends her time drawing and painting.
Ms. Kendall is a Lake Central High School graduate, currently attending Purdue University Northwest, majoring in Early Childhood Education. While she pursues a future career in children’s education, she loves working with all young ones, especially babies and toddlers. In the past, she volunteered at the N-teens club that organizes events for children in the community. Certified as a lifeguard and former LCHS swim team member, Ms. Kendall enjoys the water! Before joining Kuddlebugz, she worked at a local church nursery and meat shop for four years. She is a natural at connecting with our little ones and making them feel special.
Kuddlebugz Kids has been caring for young children in the Schererville, Saint John, and Crown Point areas of Indiana since 2006. We are an Indiana state-licensed home-based daycare and preschool serving children from 16 months through age 5.
